The Healthcare Information Management Program addresses the rapidly growing healthcare occupations of Medical Front Office Administration, Medical Billing, and Outpatient Medical Coding. New Horizons offers three program offerings to prepare students for a career in this growing industry: Medical Front Office Assistant, Medical Coding Specialist, Medical Billing and Coding Specialist, and Certified Professional Coder.
New Horizons’ Healthcare Information Management (HCIM) program will empower students with the skills and knowledge necessary to fit easily alongside other industry personnel as an entry-level employee. Hands-on, interactive teaching methods, combined with actual “real-world” documents and case studies used in classroom lab settings, allow for the best possible learning experience. The realistic settings will acquaint you with the “experience” of workplace responsibilities. This program prepares students to sit for professional certification exams.
